Virginia High School Softball - Dinwiddie bounces Hopewell
April 25, 2024: Dinwiddie, VA 23841 The Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) softball routed the visiting Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA), 15-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Generals (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Knights go into the Central bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Thomas Dale notched a victory over Prince George (Prince George, VA), 16-5, in a league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Colonial Heights for a Central bout on Tuesday, April 30. Hopewell will confront a Colonials squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 5-8.
