April 25, 2024: St. Petersburg, FL 33709 Hollins Royals (St. Petersburg, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Northside Christian Mustangs (St. Petersburg, FL), 18-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Royals now own a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they host St. Petersburg for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Hollins will battle a Green Devils squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Tarpon Springs (Tarpon Springs, FL). The Green Devils record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Northside Christian falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Indian Rocks Christian (Largo, FL) to battle the Eagles in a 2A District 10 challenge on Friday, April 26. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 5-12. Indian Rocks Christian lost 7-3 in their recent league challenge against Lakeside Christian (Clearwater, FL)
