In Friday's league game, the host Gateway Christian Warriors baseball team scored a nice 20-4 win over the Floyd Broncos.

The Warriors (11-4) will now prepare for their game against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes go into the A District 1 game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Melrose knocked off Dexter (Dexter, NM), 19-6, in a non-league game.

Next, the Broncos play the Dora Coyotes (Dora, NM) in a A District 1 game, on Monday, April 28. Floyd will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Coyotes go into the game with a 4-12 record after their 15-5 league loss to Elida (Elida, NM).
