The Lindale Eagles baseball squad (Lindale, TX), was edged 5-4 in Friday's league contest with the host Van Vandals (Van, TX)

With the triumph, Van moves its record to 28-6 on the season. The Vandals travel to Carthage (Carthage, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 1. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 10-11. Carthage lost 7-2 in their recent non-league contest against Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX)

The Eagles now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spring Hill for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 26. Lindale will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 23-7.
