The Helix Highlanders topped the host Steele Canyon Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Highlanders face the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) in a Grossmont Hills game, on Tuesday, April 29. Helix will attempt to advance on its 16-15 season record. The Sultans go into the game with a 9-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA).

The Cougars (6-13) will now prepare for their game against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs go into the Grossmont Valley game with a 17-11 record. In their last game, Monte Vista went down by El Camino (Oceanside, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
