Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), observed Torrey Pines's volleyball team hold off Helix by a count of 2-1.

The Falcons (26-6) will now prepare for their contest against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Steele Canyon got by Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.
