April 25, 2025: Chula Vista, CA 91913 The San Ysidro Cougars lacrosse squad scored 6 points and limited the host Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders to 1 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now hold a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Castle Park for a Metro Mesa challenge on Tuesday, April 29. San Ysidro will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Olympian (Chula Vista, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-10.
With the loss, Mater Dei Catholic falls to 8-8 on the year. The Crusaders host Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA) to clash with the Titans in a Metro Mesa challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Eastlake lost 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA)
