In Friday's league contest, the visiting Apex Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 win over the Apex Friendship Patriots.

The Cougars (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs enter the Southwest Wake contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Middle Creek nipped Cary (Cary, NC), 19-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake contest, on Tuesday, April 29. Apex Friendship will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Catamounts enter the contest with a 2-14 record after their 17-6 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC).
