Virginia High School Soccer - Mountain View nudges Massaponax
April 25, 2025: Stafford, VA 22556 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA) and the visiting Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA), saw Mountain View's soccer squad hold off Massaponax by a count of 1-0.
The Wildcats (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA). The Bears enter the Commonwealth battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Riverbend tipped King George (King George, VA), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA) in a Commonwealth battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Massaponax will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Stafford (Falmouth, VA).
