The Clear Springs Chargers (League City, TX) softball routed the visiting Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX), 12-5 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Chargers now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dobie for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 3. Clear Springs will encounter a Longhorns team coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 18-11.

With the loss, Summer Creek moves to 25-6 on the season.
