Kentucky High School Baseball - Tates Creek loses to Whitley County

The Tates Creek Commodores baseball squad (Lexington, KY), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY)

With the triumph, Whitley County moves its record to 22-2 on the season. The Colonels travel to Corbin (Corbin, KY) to confront the Redhounds in a District 50 contest on Monday, April 27. The Redhounds come into the contest with a record of 13-9. Corbin lost 7-5 in their recent non-league contest against Southwestern (Somerset, KY)

The Commodores now possess a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a District 43 contest on Tuesday, April 28. Tates Creek will confront a Generals squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Generals record now stands at 7-16.
