Arizona High School Volleyball - Cesar Chavez can't hold off South Mountain
April 26, 2022: Laveen, AZ 85339 In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting South Mountain Jaguars volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Cesar Chavez Champions.
The Jaguars (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Browne (Phoenix, AZ). The Bruins come into the 6A Metro battle with a 11-10 record. In their last battle, Browne was edged by Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Champions encounter the North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Metro battle, on Wednesday, April 27. Cesar Chavez will attempt to advance on its 3-18 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 4-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ).
