Maryland High School Lacrosse - Sandy Spring Friends drops to Georgetown Day
April 26, 2022: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD), 14-6 in a non-league battle.
The Mighty Hoppers now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maret for a Mid-Atlantic [MAC] battle on Tuesday, May 3. Georgetown Day will clash with a Frogs squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Flint Hill (Oakton, VA). The Frogs record now stands at 6-5.
In their next game, the Wildebeests clash with the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 3. Sandy Spring Friends will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Dragons come into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Wilson (Washington, DC).
