The Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Clarksburg, WV) baseball nipped the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Fighting Irish encounter the Cameron Dragons (Cameron, WV) in a Mason-Dixon contest, on Thursday, April 27. Notre Dame will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 16-9 record after their 14-9 non-league loss to Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV).

The Knights (6-11) will now prepare for their match against University (Morgantown, WV). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 14-8 record. In their last match, University edged Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV), 10-8, in a non-league match.
