Liberty Mountaineers (Clarksburg, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 15-5 in a league test.

With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV) to battle the Rebels in a non-league test on Friday, April 21. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 2-10. Ritchie County lost 17-6 in their recent league test against Wahama (Mason, WV)

With the defeat, Preston falls to 4-10 on the season. The Knights host Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV) to battle the Cee Bees in a non-league test on Saturday, April 22. The Cee Bees come into the test with a record of 2-5. Clay-Battelle won 10-7 in their recent league test against Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV)
