The Wheeling Wildcats volleyball team (Wheeling, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL)

The Blue Demons (7-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors enter the Central Suburban North challenge with a 7-13 record. In their last challenge, Deerfield nipped Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
