May 6, 2023: Wheeling, IL 60090 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL) and the host Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), saw DePaul College Prep's volleyball squad nip Wheeling by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, DePaul College Prep upgrades its record to 12-14 on the year. The Rams travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Wolfpack in a Chicago Catholic - White bout on Tuesday, May 9. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 11-12. Saint Ignatius College Prep won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL)
The Wildcats now own a 9-17 record. They play next when they travel to Hersey for a Mid Suburban bout on Tuesday, May 9. Wheeling will play a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 27-5.
