Maine High School Lacrosse - Thornton Academy Cape Elizabeth
April 26, 2023: Saco, ME 04072 In Wednesday's league test, the visiting Cape Elizabeth Capers lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Thornton Academy Trojans.
The Capers now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Falmouth for a non-league test on Saturday, April 29. Cape Elizabeth will face a Navigators squad coming off a 18-5 non-league win over Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Navigators record now stands at 4-0.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 28. Thornton Academy will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 16-3 non-league win over Cony (Augusta, ME).
