In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) softball team overwhelmed the host Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), by a margin of 15-0.

With the triumph, Cheshire moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Rams host Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT) to play the Crusaders in a Southern Connecticut - Housatonic contest on Thursday, April 27.
