Maine High School Softball - Freeport loses to Yarmouth
April 26, 2023: Freeport, ME 04032 The Yarmouth Clippers softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Freeport Falcons to 9 in the Clippers league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Yarmouth improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Clippers host Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME) to clash with the Raiders in a Class B South game on Saturday, April 29. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 2-2. Fryeburg lost 8-4 in their recent league game against York (York, ME)
In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME) in a Class B South game, on Friday, April 28. Freeport will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Capers come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 8-6 league win over Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME).
