Spring-Ford Rams (Royersford, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Perkiomen Valley Vikings (Collegeville, PA), 6-5 in a league test.

With the win, Spring-Ford upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Rams host Boyertown (Boyertown, PA) to battle the Bears in a Pioneer battle on Monday, April 29. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 6-8. Boyertown lost 4-3 in their recent league battle against Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA)

The Vikings now possess a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norristown for a Pioneer battle on Monday, April 29. Perkiomen Valley will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Methacton (Norristown, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
