Virginia High School Baseball - Northside loses to William Byrd
April 26, 2024: Vinton, VA 24179 The William Byrd Terriers crushed the visiting Northside Vikings baseball team by a tally of 10-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Terriers now hold a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Christiansburg for a non-league bout on Monday, April 29. William Byrd will face a Blue Demons team coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 6-4.
Next, the Vikings face the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 30. Northside will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
