Virginia High School Soccer - Godwin nudges Freeman
April 26, 2024: Richmond, VA 23233 Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Glen Allen Jaguars (Glen Allen, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 3. Godwin will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record.
The Mavericks now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hermitage for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Freeman will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.
