Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host Clovis for a challenge on Tuesday, April 30.

With the loss, Roswell falls to 12-5 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to battle the Cavemen in a challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Cavemen enter the challenge with a record of 7-2.
