April 26, 2024: Madison, AL 35758 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL) and the visiting James Clemens Jets (Madison, AL), witnessed Bob Jones's softball squad prevail over James Clemens by a count of 15-7.
The Patriots now sport a 25-11 record. They play next when they travel to Skyline for a non-league match on Friday, April 26. Bob Jones will face a Vikings squad coming off a 12-5 non-league loss to Brewer (Somerville, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 24-14.
With the loss, James Clemens moves to 11-26 on the season. The Jets host Austin (Decatur, AL) to face the Black Bears in a 7A Area 8 match on Saturday, April 27. The Black Bears go into the match with a record of 35-16. Austin won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Florence (Florence, AL)
