April 26, 2024: Holcomb, MO 63852 In Friday's league contest, the Holcomb Hornets (Holcomb, MO) softball team held off the visiting South Pemiscot Bulldogs (Steele, MO), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Holcomb moves its record to 22-1 on the year. The Hornets host East Prairie (East Prairie, MO) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, April 29. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 11-13. East Prairie lost 10-0 in their recent league contest against Malden (Malden, MO)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Clarkton Reindeer (Clarkton, MO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 26. South Pemiscot will attempt to move on its 10-13 season record. The Reindeer come into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 12-8 league loss to Gideon (Gideon, MO).
