April 26, 2025: Kirkwood, MO 63122 In Saturday's non-league bout, the Vianney Golden Griffins (Kirkwood, MO) baseball squad edged the visiting Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars (O'Fallon, MO), by a tally of 2-1.
Next up, the Golden Griffins encounter the Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO) in a Class 6 District 2 bout, on Saturday, April 26. Vianney will attempt to upgrade on its 21-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 12-5 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Parkway West (Ballwin, MO).
The Jaguars (18-5) will now prepare for their bout against Howell Central (St. Charles, MO). The Spartans enter the Class 6 District 4 bout with a 17-8 record. In their last bout, Howell Central edged Parkway Central (Chesterfield, MO), 5-4, in a non-league bout.
