April 26, 2025: Kirkwood, MO 63122 The Vianney Golden Griffins (Kirkwood, MO) baseball the visiting Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO), 9-4 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Golden Griffins now own a 21-0 record. They take the field next when they host De Smet Jesuit for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Vianney will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Priory (St. Louis, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 9-12.
With the defeat, Marquette drops to 12-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Eureka (Eureka, MO) to clash with the Wildcats in a Class 6 District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 12-8.
