In Saturday's league bout, the Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the host New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN), by a tally of 17-0.

Next up, the Eagles encounter the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 28. Delta will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN).
