The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) and the visiting New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN), saw Delta's baseball team beat New Palestine by a margin of 4-2.

The Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN). The Royals enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Hamilton Southeastern held off Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Dragons face the Fishers Tigers (Fishers, IN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 13. New Palestine will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 13-12 non-league loss to Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN).
