In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Shaker Heights Red Raiders lacrosse squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the Hawken Hawks.

The Red Raiders (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mentor (Mentor, OH). The Cardinals go into the Region 2 challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Mentor was overwhelmed by Riverside (Painesville, OH), 21-6, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Rocky River Pirates (Rocky River, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Hawken will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 11-0 record after their 8-4 league win over Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH).
