Ohio High School Lacrosse - Rocky River nudges Shaker Heights
May 3, 2025: Rocky River, OH 44116 The Rocky River Pirates lacrosse squad scored 6 points and limited the visiting Shaker Heights Red Raiders to 5 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now own a 13-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wooster for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 7. Rocky River will face a Generals squad coming off a 10-9 league win over University School (Hunting Valley, OH). The Generals record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Shaker Heights falls to 11-2 on the year. The Red raiders host Brunswick (Brunswick, OH) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 6. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 8-7. Brunswick won 9-8 in their recent non-league outing against Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH)
