April 26, 2025: Potomac, MD 20854 Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD), 14-11 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Wheaton upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Magruder (Rockville, MD) to play the Colonels in a non-league game on Monday, April 28. The Colonels enter the game with a record of 1-3.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Huntingtown for a non-league game on Monday, April 28. Churchill will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 21-0 league win over Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 11-2.
