Minnesota High School Softball - St. Francis bounces Elk River
April 26, 2025: St. Francis, MN 55070 The St. Francis Fighting Saints softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Elk River Elks to 4 in the Fighting Saints non-league win on Saturday.
The Fighting Saints now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andover for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 26. St. Francis will confront a Huskies team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Anoka (Anoka, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Elk River moves to 2-9 on the season. The Elks host Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN) to confront the Panthers in a Northwest Suburban battle on Monday, April 28. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 8-3. Spring Lake Park won 9-6 in their recent non-league battle against Monticello (Monticello, MN)
