The Western Boone Stars softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Tri-West Hendricks Bruins to 8 in the Stars league win on Saturday.

The Stars now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Danville for a Sagamore battle on Tuesday, April 29. Western Boone will confront a Warriors team coming off a 17-6 non-league win over Monrovia (Monrovia, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Tri-West Hendricks moves to 4-7 on the season. The Bruins host Lebanon (Lebanon, IN) to confront the Tigers in a Sagamore battle on Tuesday, April 29.
