The Truckee Wolverines baseball team (Truckee, CA), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA)

The Vikings now hold a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Valleys for a 3A North - West outing on Friday, April 29. South Tahoe will confront a Panthers team coming off a 26-0 league win over Hug (Reno, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 11-6.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a 3A North - West outing, on Friday, April 29. Truckee will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Railroaders go into the outing with a 12-8 record after their 12-10 league loss to Wooster (Reno, NV).
