Illinois High School Volleyball - Lake Zurich edged by Mundelein

The Mundelein Mustangs held off the visiting Lake Zurich Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stevenson for a North Suburban test on Thursday, April 28. Mundelein will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 league win over Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 22-2.

The Bears (5-19) will now prepare for their test against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 8-15 record.
