Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN), 6-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Center Grove for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 28. Decatur Central will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over New Palestine (New Palestine, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Plainfield falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Quakers host Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Flashes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Flashes enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Franklin Central won 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Southport (Indianapolis, IN)
