New York High School Lacrosse - Peekskill drops to Newburgh Free Academy
April 27, 2022: Newburgh, NY 12550 In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks lacrosse squad scored a good 16-0 victory over the Peekskill Red Devils.
The Goldbacks now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wallkill for a non-league test on Thursday, April 28. Newburgh Free Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 17-11 league win over Rondout Valley (Accord, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.
In their next game, the Red Devils face the Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 5. Peekskill will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Sawyers come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 16-3 league loss to Wallkill (Wallkill, NY).
