April 27, 2022: Beaver Falls, PA 15010 In Wednesday's league outing, the host Blackhawk Cougars softball team scored a close 7-0 win over the Ambridge Bridgers.
Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 3 outing, on Saturday, April 30. Blackhawk will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the outing with a 9-0 record after their 5-0 league win over Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA).
The Bridgers (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Hurricanes enter the WPIAL 4A 3 outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, New Castle was routed by Montour (McKees Rocks, PA), 17-4, in a league outing.
