Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Guilford for a Metro 4A challenge on Friday, April 29. Page will face a Falcons squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Atkins falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Camels travel to High Point Central (High Point, NC) to face the Bison in a Mid-State 3A challenge on Friday, April 29. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 1-10. High Point Central lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
