New York High School Softball - Bay Shore bounces Connetquot
April 27, 2022: Bay Shore, NY 11706 Bay Shore Marauders (Bay Shore, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Connetquot T-Birds (Bohemia, NY), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Marauders now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lindenhurst for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 29. Bay Shore will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Northport (Northport, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Connetquot falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The T-birds travel to Ward Melville (East Setauket, NY) to battle the Patriots in a Section 11 AA-1 challenge on Friday, April 29. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 1-10. Ward Melville lost 10-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Walt Whitman (Huntington Station, NY)
