Idaho High School Softball - Marsh Valley bounces Sugar-Salem
April 27, 2022: Sugar City, ID 83448 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Marsh Valley Eagles (Arimo, ID) and the host Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID), saw Marsh Valley's softball squad achieve victory over Sugar-Salem by a count of 14-3.
The Eagles now sport a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they host American Falls for a 3A South East Idaho match on Friday, April 29. Marsh Valley will face a Beavers squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Snake River (Blackfoot, ID). The Beavers record now stands at 3-12.
With the loss, Sugar-Salem falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Diggers travel to South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID) to face the Cougars in a 3A Mountain Rivers match on Thursday, April 28. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 10-8. South Fremont lost 13-10 in their recent league match against Teton (Driggs, ID)
