Illinois High School Softball - Normal University bounces Rochester
April 27, 2022: Rochester, IL 62563 The Normal University Pioneers the host Rochester Rockets softball squad by a count of 6-2 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Pioneers (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 17-7 record. In their last battle, Maroa-Forsyth nudged Auburn (Auburn, IL), 14-2, in a league battle.
The Rockets now sport a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Athens for a non-league battle on Friday, April 29. Rochester will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Tri-City/Sangamon Valley (Niantic, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 8-8.
