California High School Baseball - Banning gets by San Pedro
April 27, 2023: Wilmington, CA 90744 Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA), 3-1 in a league test.
With the win, Banning upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Pilots travel to Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA) to battle the Vipers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 29. The Vipers come into the test with a record of 6-7. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences lost 8-7 in their recent league game against Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA)
The Pirates (10-10) will now prepare for their game against Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA). The Lobos go into the Marine game with a 6-6 record.
