Virginia High School Soccer - Stone Bridge held off by Woodgrove
April 27, 2023: Ashburn, VA 20147 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) and the host Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA), saw Woodgrove's soccer squad get by Stone Bridge by a margin of 2-1.
The Wolverines now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Potomac Falls for a Potomac test on Monday, May 1. Woodgrove will play a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-9.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Independence (Ashburn, VA) in a Potomac outing, on Thursday, May 4. Stone Bridge will attempt to advance on its 10-1 season record.
