The Salem Spartans triumphed over the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers lacrosse team by a score of 12-4 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA) to battle the Patriots in a River Ridge outing on Wednesday, May 3. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 6-1. Patrick Henry lost 17-16 in their recent non-league outing against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)

With the defeat, Jefferson Forest drops to 6-6 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA) to battle the Bruins in a non-league outing on Monday, May 1. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 1-9. Blacksburg lost 9-8 in their recent non-league outing against William Byrd (Vinton, VA)
