The Cave Spring Knights walloped the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers lacrosse team by a final score of 8-3 in Tuesday's non-league match.

With the win, Cave Spring betters its record to 8-0 on the season. The Knights host Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA) to play the Patriots in a River Ridge match on Thursday, April 20. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 4-0. Patrick Henry won 13-11 in their recent non-league contest against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)

The Cavaliers now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rockbridge County for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 20. Jefferson Forest will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
