New York High School Softball - Hammond Central bounces Edwards-Knox
April 27, 2023: Hammond, NY 13646 The Hammond Central Red Devils routed the visiting Edwards-Knox Cougars softball squad by a count of 16-3 in Thursday's league battle.
The Red Devils (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Stockbridge Valley (Munnsville, NY). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Stockbridge Valley topped DeRuyter (DeRuyter, NY), 15-0, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lisbon Central for a Section 10 West battle on Friday, April 28. Edwards-Knox will meet a Golden Knights squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Hermon-DeKalb Central (DeKalb Junction, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 1-2.
