New Mexico High School Softball - Tularosa bounces Lordsburg
April 27, 2023: Lordsburg, NM 88045 Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lordsburg Mavericks (Lordsburg, NM), 14-4 in a league battle.
The Wildcats (17-7) will now prepare for their battle against Capitan (Capitan, NM). The Tigers go into the A/2A District 3 battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Capitan topped Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM), 11-4, in a league battle.
The Mavericks now sport a 10-12 record. They play next when they host Mesilla Valley Christian School for a A/2A District 3 battle on Tuesday, May 2. Lordsburg will meet a SonBlazers squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The SonBlazers record now stands at 10-9.
